Happy Halloween! A few pics from the day. Asa as Woody, Ian as a Storm Trooper, and Tyler as Scream. Helena would not stand by them. SO I caught her inside the house. We headed over to Shenna's who had the best octomom costume ever for a quick stop, then camped out in the front of our house to pass out candy.

The Mighty Rockets, Caleb, Jess, Sam, Jonah, Asa, & Jake had a game Halloween morning. These guys have come a long way. Second to last game was a win - although MYSA does not take score. Asa scored two goals. It was a beautiful day to be outside and the guys were just so happy to be out there regardless of winning.

Well we had a very interesting rest of the week. $-100,000,000.00 is what our bank account balance is right now. Crazy! Someone decided to steal Ryan's identity this week. We thought we were careful enough to prevent ID theft, but I guess not. We did not lose anything, everything is kept in safe places, so WHY WHY WHY? This person opened up accounts at Home Depot and JCPenneys and charged several thousand. This person created fake checks and started to cash them at places and that is what alerted us. All in Katy Texas. So the past two days were spent canceling stuff, closing accounts, and opening up all new stuff. I had a lot to do for Asa's school this week, some work, and Helena had a stomach virus. I stayed up two nights in a row until 2:45 am and I remembered how much fun that USE to be when I would be coming home from a night out. Not so fun now, when the kids wake you up at 6:30am. I think we have it under control now. Ryan has alerted everyone and filed reports. Thankfully we look at our bank accounts online almost daily. I wish I could catch this person myself in the act and kick their a%$!

Yesterday and today, I just put that aside and focused on the fun stuff. Pumpkin festivities at Asa's school and professional pics of Helena in her costume. I also got to see Felicia's precious girls practice for their dance competition. She has been working so hard on getting them prepared. It was interesting to see how much dance competition has changed since my ole days. The shoes and the costumes are MUCH cooler.

Daily Hair Saga

Helena's hair has a mind of its own. Every morning she wakes up and it looks like a rat's nest. I sit her up on the counter and spray tons of detangler and try to comb it. She screams, I stop, and instead just pat it down. We put a bow on and head out. It is so fine, so when hair comes out it sticks to my hands and is so hard to get off. I am waiting for her hair to get thicker, heavier, something! We would be lost without the detangler. When it calms down it is so beautiful, but it is truly a pain in the rear.

Blogging

I have no idea how this all works. So if my posts are misspelled, it is because I have no time, but am trying to cyber scrapbook my family. If my colors are off, well that too is probably from lack of time. I am up late tonight working on numerous things and thought why not do one more thing. My goal is to post often but be as brief as possible. Hope I will keep this up and not have it be some diary that has one page written on. Good night!

Halloween is Almost Here

I had to take some pictures of Asa & Helena in their new halloween jammies from Grandma & Papa. They were really into this for some reason. Maybe because they were up past bedtime and will do anything for that.
